Ana Sala, mayor of Calp met this morning with councilors Guillermo Sendra and Pere Moll to evaluate the damages caused by the fire that occurred last Saturday. The blaze affected an area measuring one hectare. They met with municipal technicians, heads of the territorial heritage department and the archaeologist-director of the site.
The industrial part of the Mol del Morello site has suffered the most damage, and not the Roman Baths or domus. City Council wishes to send a calm message, as the Roman site was not damaged. The affected area is recoverable. This is the topic of the campaign this year, currently in bidding.
